Job summary

Statista is recruiting a Junior Corporate Development Manager to join the Corporate Development Team in Hamburg or Berlin. The role focuses on supporting strategic initiatives, coordinating cross‑team efforts, and shaping growth plans through in‑depth market and competitive analyses.

You will assist senior leadership with decision papers and workshops, while developing your strategic mindset in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

Approx. 1-3 years of experience in strategy, start-up, consulting-related role or corporate development (internships or working student roles count)
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data independently and derive clear conclusions and recommendations from it
Ideally basic knowledge of data analytics, as well as the ability to question analyses and optimize them together with the specialist department
Understanding of and interest in market and competitive trends
Excellent perceptive skills with exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a team and a positive attitude towards change and continuous improvement processes
High level of initiative and commitment to the quality of work results as well as a structured and energetic way of working
Excellent English and German language skills

Responsibilities

Act as a central point of contact for all strategically relevant initiatives and topics
Facilitate cooperation between different teams to ensure the success of the project
Specifying strategic objectives for the coming year and breaking them down into individual areas
Carrying out and preparing well‑found market and competition analyses to identify new growth areas
Connect the dots between ongoing initiatives, C‑level priorities, and market developments, ensuring alignment and timely information flow
Preparation of decision papers for the management based on complex information using qualitative and quantitative methods
Preparation and realization of workshops with senior management and key stakeholders
