Job summary

Delaware North is seeking a full-time Cook to join the team at Southland Casino Hotel in West Memphis, Arkansas. You will assist in training team members, prepare food, operate kitchen equipment, and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-house foodservice position.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to comply with portion sizes, quality standards, policies and procedures.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized and stocked.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.
