Job summary

Gina Group, a NYC-based wholesale footwear and accessories company, seeks a Junior Controller to support the CFO in internal reporting, managerial reporting, and financial planning and analysis. You will contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, budgeting, and royalty analytics across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong Excel skills, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 3+ years in wholesale import.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in the wholesale import industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Must be extremely proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with partners and all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting responsibilities across several divisions and companies.
• Inventory costing processes and margin analysis.
• Quarterly royalty reporting for 20+ brands.
• Assist in the budget and forecasting process.
• Open to buy reporting.
• Data-entry and expense management functions.
• Light bookkeeping for a small entity.
• Expense tracking.
• Ad-hoc expense modeling.
• Provide general administrative support for the CFO & the finance department.
• Undertake special assignments/projects on a wide variety of issues as requested by the CFO pertaining to finance, operations, and marketing.
