Sable Social in Houston is seeking a Junior Content Producer (Video & Photography) to join our creative team. You will help capture, edit, and produce social-first content for a variety of brands, working from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, familiar with current trends, and eager to grow skills in a fast-paced agency environment, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Content Producer (Video & Photography) to join our content team.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, understands current content trends, and enjoys creating visually engaging content from concept to completion. The Junior Content Producer will assist in capturing, editing, and producing social-first content for a variety of clients.

The ideal candidate understands that successful social media content requires more than just filmingit requires creativity, storytelling, awareness of trends, and the ability to create content that connects with audiences.

Responsibilities

• Capture professional photo and video content using DSLR and mirrorless camera systems.
• Produce social-first content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit short-form video content with strong pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific best practices.
• Color grade footage and deliver polished, client-ready edits.
• Capture both planned and in-the-moment content during production days.
• Assist with creative planning, shot lists, and content concepts.
• Stay current with social media trends, editing styles, trending audio, and platform updates.
• Identify opportunities to create engaging and relevant content.
• Collaborate with the Lead Content Producer and creative team throughout production.
• Organize and manage footage, project files, and media assets.
• Maintain and properly handle production equipment.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Occasionally travel to client locations for content production.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in both video production and photography.
• Experience shooting with professional DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (preferred editing software).
• Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects preferred)
• CapCut
• Instagram Edits
• Other industry-standard creative software
• Strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, composition, lighting, and camera settings.
• Ability to create content specifically for social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to receive creative direction while also bringing new ideas to the team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Technical Requirements

Must have access to a reliable editing workstation capable of running professional editing software to support a hybrid work environment. Preferred workstation specifications can be discussed during the interview process. Must be comfortable managing and editing projects remotely.

Bonus Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Drone Certification.
• Experience capturing commercial drone footage.
• Access to professional camera equipment and willingness to use personal equipment when appropriate.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or advanced visual effects.
• Experience creating high-performing social media content.
• Strong photography and video portfolio.
