Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Entry Level Construction Inspector to support a NYCDEP project in Yonkers, NY. You will assist the construction management team with field office duties and inspect construction activities on site, while balancing field and office work in a dynamic environment.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to pass a site security background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Training preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Update conformed contract drawings per RFIs and change orders.
• Develop and utilize Excel to track equipment, materials and manpower.
• Complete field inspection reports in e-Builder.
• Manage inspection photos and CM SharePoint documents.
• Prepare Monthly Reports and Construction Progress Meeting presentations.
• Assist CM Team with day-to-day activities as needed.
• Work with Safety Team to track safety performance.
• Attend meetings and develop meeting minutes.
