Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment on projects in the field and in manufacturing environments.

The role requires knowledge of switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, and power monitoring systems, with travel to customer sites. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 0+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; 0+ years experience.
• Understanding of commissioning, inspection and testing principles.
• Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist commissioning specialists with coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables.
• Prepare and review simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and reviews for compliance with specs.
• Access department guides and standards via internal websites.
• Support field and manufacturing commissioning activities.
