Job summary

Nightwing Technologies, LLC seeks a qualified developer to support a team in prototyping, developing, testing, and maintaining CNO capabilities. You will contribute to tool development while learning advanced techniques in offensive cyber operations.

The position requires programming experience (Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, Python) and familiarity with Windows/UNIX environments, OS internals, and reverse engineering tools. TS/SCI + poly requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years' relevant experience.
• At least 1 year programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Experience developing Windows or UNIX applications with appropriate build environments.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and/or Assembly, plus scripting languages.
• Understanding of OS internals and modern encryption protocols.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools.
• Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban and Git.

Position Overview

The candidate will support a team of developers in prototyping, developing, testing, and maintaining CNO capabilities to meet mission requirements. They will contribute to tool development efforts while learning advanced techniques in offensive cyber operations.

Clearance

TS/SCI + FSP + CI Poly within 5 years

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four (4) years' experience in relevant field
• Minimum one (1) year experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python
• Minimum one (1) year experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments: UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; mission-applicable platforms

Specialized Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and/or Assembly, along with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
• High-level understanding of operating systems internals
• Knowledge of modern encryption protocols, defense evasion strategies, and network interception
• Understanding of network protocols and sockets, common CNO techniques, exploitation mitigations such as DEP and ASLR, and modern software engineering concepts
• Experience with reverse engineering frameworks (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg) and disassemblers/debuggers
• Experience with project management best practices such as Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) along with understanding of basic configuration management principles

The salary associated with this position $64,000-$128,000 i s commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
