Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineering Technician in New Jersey to support design and permitting for site development, roadway, and utility projects. You will work under supervision to prepare plans, perform analyses, and assist with field inspections.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and familiarity with CAD tools; EIT is preferred but not required. Collaboration with PMs and regulatory agencies is essential.

Qualifications

• Entry-level professional with 1–2 years of experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• EIT preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare plans for site development, roadway, utility, stormwater, and other civil infrastructure projects.
• Perform site grading, drainage, and erosion control design in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct technical analyses, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit permit applications and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, surveyors, and other engineers to meet objectives.
• Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy and adherence to goals.
• Provide support during construction, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field inspections.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.
