Job summary

Pioneer Design Group – Hawai‘i (PDG-Hawaiʻi) in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Designer to assist in civil engineering design and analysis. You will prepare plans, review specifications, and support senior engineers on a variety of projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools in a in-office setting. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required, with E.I.T. preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • E.I.T. certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop solutions.
  • Use engineering software to perform calculations and simulations.
