Job summary

McMillen, Inc. in Boise, ID, is seeking an entry-level Civil Design Tech I to support our water resources, restoration, hydropower, and infrastructure projects across North America.

You will develop drafting skills in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, learn company standards, and work with project leads to produce drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D through coursework, internships, or professional experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of engineering drawings using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Prepare figures, exhibits, maps, and plan sheets for project deliverables
• Assist designers and engineers with project production tasks
• Follow established CAD standards and QA/QC procedures
• Organize and maintain project files and documentation
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Learn and apply company design and drafting standards
• Support multidisciplinary project teams on a variety of infrastructure projects
