Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Baton Rouge is seeking an entry-level Drafter to create and update technical drawings. Candidates should have a successful completion of Drafting from an accredited institution and working knowledge of AutoCAD. This full-time position involves both 2-D and 3-D software and occasional site visits. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Qualifications

• 1-5 years of drafting experience.
• Experience in creating C/S drawings.
• Training or working knowledge of Plant 3-D and/or Advanced Steel package is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create and/or update drawings from mark-ups using AutoCAD.
• Support Civil/Structural design team's drawings.
• Responsible for revising existing drawings per markups from designers.
