Job summary

Market America Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Level 1 Buyer to manage inventory, supplier relationships, and purchase raw materials and finished goods. The role requires attention to safety stock, BOMs, and Excel lookups.

You will work with Receiving, Inventory Control, Accounting, Quality Control, and Vendors, with opportunity to develop procurement skills in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in a business-related field preferred.
• One to two years of Commodity Purchasing Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• This role will build, maintain, and evaluate supplier relationships.
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy.
• Purchase finished products, supplies and services at the lowest possible cost consistent with accepted standard of quality and service within established time frames.
• Coordinate return of rejected, unsuitable, or damaged RMAs and overstock/over shipped RMAs.
• Maintains awareness of current market conditions, new products, and supply sources to support the business and the independent business owners for Market America, Inc.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as needed.
