Job summary

KeyStaff Professionals – A Division of Midwest Staffing seeks a Buyer for a manufacturing client in Minneapolis. The role focuses on daily material planning, ordering production materials, MRO items and services to support production schedules.

You will work with planning and suppliers to resolve delivery issues, release change orders, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining data and reporting in SAP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years planning, purchasing or inventory experience.
• Excellent communication, computer, and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Daily Material Requirement Planning review and execution of orders for production materials, MRO items and services.
• Collaborate with planning and suppliers to resolve delivery issues and develop recovery plans.
• Interface with other department representatives to determine specific needs.
• Release change orders for updates to manufacturing and vendors.
• Follow up on deliveries, obtain proof of delivery if required and resolve invoicing issues.
• Manage inventory for assigned materials.
• Provide regular updates on assigned metrics.
• Maintain data and prepare reports using SAP.
