Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support reporting, data analysis, and operational processes. The role focuses on bordereaux reporting, collections tracking, and Lloyd's DOI CAT reporting to ensure regulatory data integrity.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT, using Excel (VBA/macros, pivots) and SQL to deliver ad hoc and scheduled reports, monitor data quality, and assist with SOC1/SOC2 control evidence and remediation tracking. Remote work option available.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Excel with VBA/macros, pivots, and advanced formulas.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting within a data-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication across finance, operations, and IT.
• Working knowledge of SQL or data querying tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and deliver bordereaux reports and data requests.
• Assist with collections tracking and follow-up reporting with Finance and Operations.
• Support Lloyd's DOI CAT reporting ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.
• Generate and distribute ad hoc and scheduled reports for clients and internal teams.
• Automate reporting using Excel to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and query databases to extract actionable data.
• Review data for inconsistencies and resolve issues.
• Support SOC1 and SOC2 control documentation and testing, including evidence.
• Assist in remediation tracking for identified control gaps.
• Validate data lineage from source systems to reports for audit traceability.
