Job summary

The engineer will perform system design calculations and coordinate with other trades to deliver HVAC, utility, plumbing, and fire suppression designs. They will take ownership of assigned tasks, progressing from basic design work to more complex projects under the guidance of professional engineers.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering and an EIT certification or the ability to obtain one within six months of start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering required.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems and obtain EIT within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform system design calculations for HVAC, utility, plumbing and fire protection.
• Coordinate with other trades to deliver integrated designs.
• Own assigned tasks and progress from basic to complex projects under PE guidance.
