NATC's Nevada Automotive Test Center in Silver Springs, NV seeks a Junior Automotive Engineer to join a team focused on performance and durability testing for vehicle platforms, and to support development projects for technology demonstrators that meet customer requirements.

The role reports to the Program Manager and involves collaboration with mechanics, technicians and engineers to plan, execute, and analyze tests, with opportunities to work on test programs that simulate real-world

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 1 year of experience in a related engineering field preferred for Mechanical Engineer.
• Ability to work >40 hours per week and maintain safety protocols.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid NV driver's license.
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Office; good written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Prepare test plans detailing type of test, facilities, schedule and resources.
• Define and oversee installation of instrumentation packages.
• Conduct field tests to quantify vehicle performance and durability.
• Collaborate with mechanics, technicians and operators to complete tests on time and budget.
• Analyze technical data and communicate results to project managers or customers.
• Support FMEA analysis and suggest design changes to components.
• Provide support to engineers and program managers.
• Represent the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and presenting technical proposals.
