Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an entry-level AutoCAD Designer in Overland Park, KS to support telecommunications and EV charging infrastructure projects. You will work with engineers and senior designers to develop and revise technical drawings for wireless sites and charging installations, while learning drafting principles and CAD standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proficient in AutoCAD with an understanding of basic drafting practices.

Qualifications

AutoCAD experience, preferably with an Associates in CAD Design.
Able to draw the normal shapes to scale, use two key commands, short cuts, etc.

Responsibilities

Create and modify AutoCAD drawings for telecommunications cell tower and wireless site projects.
Assist with the preparation of construction drawings, site plans, equipment layouts, and permitting packages.
Develop and update drawings for EV charging station installations, including site layouts and equipment placement.
Incorporate engineering markups and redline revisions into existing design packages.
Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and compliance with company standards.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and design teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Review drawings for quality control and completeness prior to client submission.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
