Job summary

Withum is seeking accounting majors graduating in the upcoming academic year to join our Audit team as part of the November 2027 class in Orlando, FL. You will gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits, internal control evaluations, and client engagements across various industries.

You will work under a Manager or Partner, learning to analyze records, evaluate risks, and perform testing while using audit software and data analytics tools to improve audit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Preferred: 150 credit hours and prior internship in public accounting.
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking.
• Team-oriented with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements.
• Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and GAAS compliance.
• Prepare detailed workpapers to support audit procedures.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial data.
• Take ownership of smaller engagements as skills grow.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify audit issues.
• Use audit software and data analytics tools to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
