Job summary

ApolloMD is seeking a Junior Application Developer to design, build, and support applications powering healthcare workflows, revenue cycle, and internal operations. You will join a small team with mentorship from senior developers, gaining exposure to hybrid on‑prem and cloud infrastructure, AI‑enabled improvements, and governance standards while contributing to modernizing legacy systems.

Primarily remote with EST alignment; Atlanta‑based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years delivering software in pro, academic, or internship setting.
• Hands-on experience building automation solutions.
• Exposure to Python, SQL, REST APIs/JSON‑XML.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and container/cloud deployments.
• Interest in system integrations and vendor interfaces.
• Understanding of networking and security fundamentals.
• Knowledge of HL7/X12 is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support features in enterprise apps for healthcare/revenue cycle.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks and shipped features.
• Participate in architecture discussions across teams.
• Collaborate with IT Operations, Data Management, and Architecture on security and data governance.
• Support lifecycle including performance, security, reliability, and compliance.
