Job summary

Forest Pond Associates, Inc. is seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI models for client engagements.

You will analyze complex data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate findings into actionable insights, while maintaining and improving AI applications. The role is remote initially with a planned onsite orientation and occasional Central Pennsylvania visits; candidates in the continental United States are preferred, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AI, machine learning, or data science.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, Azure Synapse, and data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and algorithms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address AI-related challenges.
• Analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AI applications and models, including resolving defects and performance issues.
• Improve models through iteration and experimentation.
• Keep current with developments in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Document and present findings to stakeholders.
