The role supports interpretation of accounts for officers and may involve tax reports or special projects. Responsibilities include depreciating fixed assets, preparing reports, assisting audits, and acting as backup to accounts payable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with accounting emphasis and 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and integrated financial/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Track and depreciate fixed assets and capital projects.
• Reconcile fixed asset general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly depreciation reports.
• Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly management reports as requested.
• Assist in inventory counts and inventory management.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Assist in audits documentation.
• Maintain accounting documentation and manuals.
• Prepare and analyze various financial reports for management.
• Act as backup to accounts payable.
• Perform other tasks as needed by management.
