Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Junior Accountant to support our government contracting client. This role will assist with accounts payable, reconciliations, and audit preparation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 1+ year of accounting experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks, plus strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1+ years of accounting experience required.
• QuickBooks experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist with audit preparation and support documentation requests
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with policies and procedures
• Collaborate with team members and support month-end close activities
