What You’ll Do

• Support the month‑end and year‑end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Help maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Contribute to the preparation of internal financial reports and support external audit requests.
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements; provide insights beyond data entry.
• Partner cross‑functionally with business unit leaders to understand the “why” behind the numbers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field conferred within the last 12 months.
• Strong academic record; CPA‑eligible or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and quick learning of advanced functions).
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about how businesses operate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication—explaining variances to non‑finance managers.
• High attention to detail and personal accountability for your work.
• Working knowledge of AI and desire to build further.
