Responsibilities

• Funding Loans #1 Goal.
• Daily - Drive new business to Velocity Mortgage.
• Daily - Outbound calling for new broker contacts and loans.
• Daily - Adding New broker contacts / broker offices.
• Reviewing/Pricing Loan Scenarios.
• Submitting Loans through the loan portal.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to monitor submissions and ensure on-time closings.
• Work with processing team on pipeline management and other duties as directed by management.

Velocity Commercial Capital, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Velocity Financial, Inc, an NYSE-listed public company. Velocity Commercial Capital is a real estate finance company founded in 2004 that primarily originates and manages investor loans secured by 1–4-unit residential rental and small commercial properties. Velocity Mortgage Capital is seeking to hire a full-time Junior Account Executive. This position is located at the offices in Miami, FL.

Junior Account Executive will offer reliable support to the sales team to help improve efficiencies as sales volumes increase. This is a customer service role with high touch customer outreach. The Junior Account Executive will ensure that all sales documents and agreements are completed and executed before they are officially uploaded to underwriting. Junior Account Executive will be responsible for generating loan quotes on behalf of Account Executives and delivering terms to customer(s). Significant on the job training will be provided.

Candidate should be ready to join a smart and aggressive private lending team. The ideal candidate is positive, reliable, organized, resourceful, possesses good judgment, has attention to detail, and is a team player.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the processing team on pipeline management as well as any other duties as directed by management from time to time.

Qualified Candidates Should Have:

• College degree preferred
• Ability to source leads, network and build relationships
• Experience with business applications software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Excellent communications skills, good phone presence
