Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a dynamic team member to support food sampling and product demonstrations at retail locations in California. The role involves preparing juice and other specialty products, setting up demos, and ensuring safety and proper handling throughout events.

Qualifications

• Requires state/local food safety certification or license.
• Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase.
• Experience with product demonstrations or food/beverage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the area for specialized food products.
• Read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope and requirements.
• Follow safety requirements when using equipment and lift heavy merchandise.
• Adhere to safety and food handling procedures for preparation, packaging, labeling and disposal.
• Complete reporting requirements accurately and on time.
• Monitor the product event schedule and respond to updates from management.
• Attend required trainings and certifications and stay compliant.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area and use proper cleaning chemicals.
• Assist teammates with event setup/teardown or kitchen duties as needed.
• Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs.
