Job summary

Magen David Yeshivah in New York, NY seeks an experienced Judaic Studies Learning Center Specialist to provide push-in and/or pull-out support for Humash and/or Safa to small groups of up to 6 students in grades 6-8. The role emphasizes collaboration with classroom teachers and regular parent communication.

The ideal candidate will have Ivrit b’Ivrit capability and background in teaching Humash/Safa, with experience supporting students' diverse needs in small-group settings.

Qualifications

• Teaching Ivrit in Ivrit requires fluency and cultural familiarity.
• Experience delivering Humash and Safa to grades 6–8.
• Ability to support students with learning differences in small groups.
• Degree in Special Education preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group support in Humash and/or Safa.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
• Create materials and assessments.
