Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a driven engineer to join our manufacturing-focused team in Puerto Rico/USA. You’ll provide technical solutions across equipment and processes, support deviations, qualifications, and CAPAs, and work with QA, facilities, and validation to optimize performance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supervising manufacturing processes for KPIs, and implementing system modifications while ensuring EHS compliance and 7/24 shift coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Experience managing manufacturing equipment within a CMMS, including work order approval and closure, preventive maintenance (PM) strategies, and spare parts management.
  • Knowledge of equipment reliability, change control processes, and maintenance optimization in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance metrics, including availability, downtime, and reliability, to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Experience leading equipment improvement and reliability enhancement projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in equipment design, maintenance, and compliance support during audits and inspections.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for manufacturing equipment and technical systems.
  • Experience supporting deviation investigations and developing, implementing, and owning Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance in manufacturing operations.

  • Apply process, operational, scientific expertise, basic compliance knowledge, and analytical and troubleshooting skills to support manufacturing operations
  • Organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Apply basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, experiments and/or capital projects.
  • Support 7/24 non-standard shift operation including extended hours and weekends as per business needs.
