Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC busca operario de planta para cargas y movimientos de materiales esterilizados. Se valorará experiencia con montacargas y capacidad para seguir instrucciones en un entorno de manufactura.

La posición es de tiempo completo y requiere disponibilidad para Turno C: 10 pm a 5 am de lunes a jueves y 10 pm a 10 am los viernes. Se ofrecen condiciones de igualdad de oportunidades.

Qualifications

• Título de secundaria o GED.
• Experiencia con montacargas.
• Capacidad para seguir instrucciones simples y leer notas.
• Capacidad para comunicar información en persona y por escrito.
• Disponible para Turno C.
• Turno C: 22:00–05:00; viernes 22:00–10:00.

Responsibilities

• Carga, descarga y traslada materiales esterilizados dentro de la planta.
• Verifica cada lote y asegura cumplimiento de procedimientos.
• Carga materiales al inicio del turno y lee códigos de fabricación.
• Organiza camiones para iniciar el turno.
• Realiza limpieza de la línea y mantenimiento básico de equipos.
• Mantiene registros de horas de muestra y mueve muestras al laboratorio.
• Solicita equipo y suministros al almacén cuando sea necesario.
• Puede cubrir áreas de rack y empaque durante descansos.
• Notifica al líder de grupo ante discrepancias con materiales.
• Controla tarjetas de camión según especificaciones.
• Recoge desechos y calcula peso de materiales movidos.

Responsabilidades:

• Loads, unloads, and moves sterilized materials within Plant through Filling / Packing Areas, packing areas, out of pouch and rotary as necessary.
• Verifies each batch load and assures everyone comply with procedures and specifications.
• Loads materials when the shift starts, reads manufacturing codes such as: blue tips, pouches, trucks.
• Organizes trucks to start the shift.
• Performs line clearance as necessary: at racking area, at out of pouch or packing.
• Loads batch samples from humid area through dry area, groups and classify them.
• Keeps records of sample hour and move the load to in process laboratory as soon as possible.
• Requests miscellaneous equipment and supplies at stock room, such as: plastic bags.
• Occasionally serve as back up at racking area, packing area and during break periods.
• Notifies to group leader any discrepancy with the materials.
• Controls product truck cards following specifications and procedures.
• Pick up scrap, weight and account the material at the end of each shift.
• Locates and prepara dummies trucks at the end of each batch or code. In packing area load dummies on tote pans.
• Performs daily check on forklift.
• Makes minor adjustments and routine preventive maintenance on forklift (such as: verifies the battery for water level).
• Reports major damage to immediate supervisor.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Opens containers.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials.
• Loads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
• Clamps sections of portable conveyor together to facilitate movement of materials or products.
• Removes Dummies samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to laboratory for analysis.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with fork lift, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
• Operates electric hoist to moves materials and products.

Cualificaciones:

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Forklift Experience
• Comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Available for Shift C
• Shift C – 10pm a 5am Lun-Juev (8hrs) y Vier 10pm a 10am (12hr)
