Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Puerto Rico & USA. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, monitor production, and assist engineers with technical solutions to ensure top quality and safety across our processes.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or technical education, 2+ years in medical devices manufacturing, and experience with automation, pneumatics, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or vocational/technical education preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in Medical Devices manufacturing.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics of automated systems, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, lasers, vision systems, and motors.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance.
  • Basic computer repair and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to uphold high quality standards.
  • Monitor production activities, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.
  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Assist engineers with developing technical solutions for devices and systems.
  • Install, repair, and upgrade components of mechanical devices and systems.
  • Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for machinery.
  • Conduct quality assurance/control tests and procedures.

Education

Associate degree / Vocational or technical education preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Experience in Medical Devices manufacturing
Troubleshooting automated systems, pneumatics, electro-pneumatics
Knowledge of instrumentation, lasers, vision systems, and motors
Experience with preventive maintenance
Basic computer repair and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities
  • The Manufacturing Technician is integral to the production process, responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to uphold the highest quality standards.
  • This role involves monitoring production activities, troubleshooting issues, and supporting process improvements. With a focus on detail and safety, the Manufacturing Technician helps maintain the smooth and efficient functioning of the manufacturing operations.
  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
  • Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
  • Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
  • Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree / Vocational or technical education preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in Medical Devices manufacturing.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of automated systems, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics.
