Job summary

Craftworks USA, a subsidiary of Rycon Construction, is seeking a Stone Manager for its Casework and Millwork division in Oakdale, PA. You will oversee stone, quartz, and solid surface fabrication and installation from estimating to handover, coordinating with architects, contractors, and fabricators to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role demands strong drawing interpretation, vendor management, and proactive risk mitigation in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience overseeing stone, quartz, or solid surface fabrication and installation projects.
• Experience working with commercial construction or interior finishes with tight schedules and technical requirements.
• Proficient in reviewing architectural, shop, and construction drawings.
• Established relationships with stone suppliers, fabricators, and installation partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stone and quartz projects from estimating through final installation, including scheduling, purchasing, fabrication coordination, and field execution.
• Create, track, and update comprehensive project schedules to meet milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, general contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Identify and manage stone vendors, fabrication partners, and installation subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specs, and takeoffs to validate accuracy before start.
• Track budgets, material usage, and timelines to meet financial and schedule objectives.
• Enforce safety requirements and internal policies across all phases.
• Address risks, issues, and changes to maintain quality and schedule commitments.
• Assist with processes, workflows, and quality standards for stone operations.
• Support continuous improvement for productivity and growth; help scale the division.

What you will do:

• Track project budgets, material usage, and timelines to ensure financial and schedule objectives are met
• Enforce safety requirements, internal policies, and applicable industry standards throughout all phases of work
• Proactively address project risks, issues, and changes to maintain quality and schedule commitments
• Assist with the creation and refinement of processes, workflows, and quality assurance standards specific to stone operations
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, quality, and operational growth
• Play a key role in establishing and scaling the company’s stone division
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives

What you will need to be successful:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience overseeing stone, quartz, or solid surface fabrication and installation projects
• In‑depth knowledge of stone materials, fabrication techniques, and installation practices
• Established relationships with stone suppliers, fabricators, and installation partners
• Background supporting commercial construction or interior finishes projects with tight schedules and technical requirements
• Proficient in reviewing and interpreting architectural, shop, and construction drawings
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Familiarity with project management software and/or CAD platforms preferred
• Experience with architectural millwork, casework, or commercial interior finishes is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
