Job summary

Automated Media, Inc. (AMI) is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer in the United States to design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end layers.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in computer science or relevant coding experience, knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Visual Studio, and C# (or Java). You will collaborate with senior developers, analyze requirements, test features, and document systems while supporting customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test system applications using defined processes, tools, standards, frameworks and methodologies.

  • Analyze business requirements to create functional specifications.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss progress and identify issues.
  • Test new features to ensure proper functionality.

  • Analyze data to identify problems or improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems and operations.
  • Interface with key customers from internal and external stakeholders.

These include tire programs, as well as other technology and project management programs, consulting, billing, and systems solutions.

Base Pay Range:

$25.00 - 34.62/HR.

A Junior Full Stack Developer performs both front- and back-end operations on websites and computer systems and evaluate the needs of users and analyze any technical issues to program functional systems.

As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, your essential job functions will include the following:

  • Responsible for the design, development, and testing of system applications utilizing defined development processes, tools, standards, frameworks and methodologies.

  • Working with senior members of the development team on projects that require multiple steps in the software development process.

  • Communicating with other developers on the team to share knowledge and coordinate work efforts.

  • Analyzing business requirements to create functional specifications that will be used for development.

  • Participating in meetings with other members of the development team to discuss progress on projects and identify any issues that may arise.

  • Testing new features to ensure they function as intended.

  • Creating prototypes of new features to test feasibility before beginning work on the final product.

  • Monitoring performance of applications to ensure they are running efficiently and responding quickly to user input.

  • Analyzing data to identify problems or opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain up-to‑date documentation of newly developed systems and operations.

  • Interface with key customers from all functional areas, both internal and external.

Other Duties as Assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or at least 1 year of experience in the IT industry or relevant training through a coding or technology program/internship.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Visual Studio
  • Experience with C# (or similar object-oriented programming languages such as Java)
  • Above-average math skills
  • Applicants must speak fluent English.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server software system, C# (backend software language) and .NET Framework, .NET, or .NET CORE
  • Additional skills a plus, not required.
    • MSSQL Server Software - Other relational database experience welcome
    • GIT (Source Code Control software)
    • Subversion (Source Code Control software)
    • Angular (JavaScript framework written in TypeScript)
    • AngularJS (JavaScript framework)
    • Mongo Database
    • REDIS Cache
Physical Job Requirements
  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Travel as necessary.
