Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Junior Teamcenter ITK Custom Code Developer for a remote US-based contract role. You will design and implement ITK customizations, BMIDE configurations, and SOA integrations while supporting Active Workspace configurations in a high-compliance environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Teamcenter ITK experience, Java and C++ proficiency, scripting skills (Perl/Shell), and familiarity with Linux/Windows. US citizenship is required due to government/defense data access.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Unified Architecture, Active Workspace, BMIDE, SOA, Workflow, PSE, and Dispatcher in 2-tier and 4-tier setups.
• Proficiency in Java and C++ with scripting in Perl and Shell.
• Experience with Visual Studio, GitHub, and Teamcenter ITK developer toolkit.
• Operating systems: Linux and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter ITK customizations and extensions.
• Implement and support Teamcenter workflows, configurations, and data model changes using BMIDE.
• Develop integrations and services using Teamcenter SOA and support Active Workspace configurations.
• Support NXManager, Structure Manager, Configuration Manager, PSE, and Dispatcher solutions across 2-tier and 4-tier environments.
• Perform root cause analysis, triage severity issues, and provide front-line production support to engineering customers.
• Create technical designs, unit tests, and deployment scripts aligned with version control practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement process improvements and manage risk.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Productivity: MS Office Tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured testing capability and clear communication.
• Ability to engage with engineering stakeholders, understand business needs, and drive issue resolution.
• BS degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship due to work with US Military data.

Preferred Skills

• Teamcenter administration exposure and NX development experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale engineering environments with change and configuration management.
