Job summary

Set Of X in Maryland seeks a Junior Software Engineer to join a mission-critical cyber program that protects and enables national security operations. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software alongside experienced engineers and mission operators.

This role offers growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you contribute to sophisticated systems that operate at the forefront of cybersecurity and mission execution. Clearance TS/SCI w/ Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• Four years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
