The candidate will be experienced in the full Software Development Life Cycle and proficient in Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application development skills. The candidate will be responsible for working with the project team to develop and maintain the application. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, developing design documentation based on application requirements, developing and testing code per schedule, escalating risks and issues to the Development Manager, and assisting in troubleshooting production support issues.

Candidate should be able to contribute to the development and maintenance of complicated Java and Oracle client/server software suites with multiple independent components. Relational Database and SQL knowledge is needed to create, modify, and validate system data. The candidate must be self-motivated with excellent communication and problem solving skills, able to work independently with little guidance, and able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required. Must also be capable of obtaining an IT‑II clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree (computer science, information systems, business major preferred).
• Two or more years of experience developing Java and Java EE applications.
• One or more years of experience using web application frameworks such as Struts, JavaServer Faces, Spring, or WebLogic JMS.
