Job Summary:

NTT DATA Federal Services is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to support federal government clients in documenting business requirements, analyzing processes, and assisting with technology modernization initiatives. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to develop expertise in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and IT project delivery within a federal consulting environment.

Job Duties:

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to capture business needs.
• Support the creation of business process flows, user stories, use cases, and requirements documentation.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business analysis, project coordination, operations, consulting, internships, or related fields.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business process analysis and process improvement concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
• Internship experience supporting government, consulting, technology, or business operations projects.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Jira AI, Confluence AI, Copilot Studio, or Power Automate to support business analysis activities, automate repetitive tasks, and improve productivity.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of federal government operations or regulations.
• Relevant coursework or certifications such as:
• ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Agile Fundamentals
• Business Analysis Fundamentals

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $80,000 - $124,806. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
