Job summary

Greco Aluminum Railings U.S.A. Inc. seeks an installer to field-assemble and install railings and architectural metal products on commercial sites. You will assist with loading, measuring, layout, and installation alongside Lead Installers.

Must read shop drawings, operate hand and power tools safely, and communicate clearly in English. Some travel, outdoors work, and per diem are included; a Florida driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely install railings and architectural metal products following safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and interpret basic drawings.
• Strong communication in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Install hand railings and architectural metal products on commercial job sites.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials and equipment.
• Perform field measurements and verify dimensions as directed.
• Use PPE and tools per safety policies.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and equipment.
• Assist Lead Installers with layout, assembly, and installation tasks.
• Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Install hand railings and other architectural metal products on commercial job sites.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials and equipment.
• Perform field measurements and verify dimensions as directed.
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand tools in accordance with company safety policies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Assist Lead Installers with layout, assembly, and installation activities.
• Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and fellow team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to safely install railings and other architectural metal products in accordance with Greco's safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings and installation prints.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing priorities effectively.
• Ability to travel extensively and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial construction or a related trade preferred.
• Experience installing railings, miscellaneous metals, or similar architectural products is preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools, taking measurements, and reading installation drawings.
• Welding experience is beneficial

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Other

• This role utilizes a company vehicle to travel to job sites, so the person in this role must have a current Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• This role must be able to travel Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. Hotel accommodations are paidforand Installers receive a per diem for each travel day.
