McHugh Concrete Construction, Inc. in the Greater Chicago Area is seeking an Estimator for cast-in-place concrete projects. You will model in Tekla Structures and use multiple tools to prepare bids and estimates.

Responsibilities include creating 3D BIM estimates, managing bid calendars, requesting supplier quotes, reviewing drawings, and handing off awarded projects to the execution team. Recent grads are encouraged; 1–2 years experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience is a plus, but not required.

Role Description

Estimating cast-in-place concrete projects using modeling software for the Concrete Special Operations Division.

• o Independently submit and track initial project RFIs and submittals until handed off to project team.
• o Track drawing revisions when changes are issued to ensure sets are up to date until handed off to project team.
• o Compare and review new construction documents for potential cost changes and coordinate/discuss findings with project teams as needed.

Education and Experience

• * Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Industrial Engineering. Civil Engineering, or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• * Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• * 1 -2 years of relevant experience is a plus, but not required.

Annual Salary Pay Range

$55,000 - $70,000
