Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Jr. DevOps Engineer for our Greenwood Village, CO team onsite. You will help optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM), and support automation with Terraform and Ansible while collaborating with senior engineers to improve reliability.

The role requires 2+ years of DevOps or cloud experience, scripting in Python or Bash, and familiarity with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. A strong communicator who enjoys cross-functional work will fit well.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Route53, ALB preferred).
• Exposure to Kubernetes, ideally EKS.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Python and/or Bash scripting experience.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, deployments, application performance, logging, or monitoring issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineers and operations teams.
