Job summary

Full Visibility LLC is seeking a Jr. Data Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the development and delivery of an advanced visual analytics application and data engineering capabilities.

The role is onsite and requires an Active Top Secret/SCI eligibility, with possible CI Polygraph requirements depending on assignment. Responsibilities include building data analytics for desktop and web-based analytics, designing enterprise databases, and tuning data pipelines using Java, AWS, Spark/Scala,

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance/SCI eligibility; CI Polygraph may be required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with AWS.
• ETL experience.
• Experience with Spark/Scala and SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience with Postgres.
• Experience with NiFi and Informatica.
• Linux experience.
• Experience building and tuning data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop data analytics for desktop and web-based visual analytic software.
• Support bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, along with open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies.
• Build an application that enables manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data.
• Design strategies for enterprise database systems, including standards for operations, programming, and security.
• Design and construct large relational databases.
• Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structures and refine system performance and functionality.
