Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from a variety of sources.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems, APIs, and third‑party platforms.
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing system reliability and performance.
• Create, maintain, and enhance business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality through validation, testing, and monitoring processes.
• Contribute to the design and development of data models and transformation workflows.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests and business reporting needs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and reporting assets.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to promote best practices.
• Work cross‑functionally with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Working knowledge of Python for data engineering or analytics tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or similar platforms.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, modern data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, or comparable platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools.
• Exposure to workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud services and data infrastructure.
• Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Academic, internship, or professional experience in data modeling and database design.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices in analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly in documentation and technical explanation.
