Job summary

Hinduja Tech Limited is seeking a Jr. D&R Engineer to assist in the design, development, and release of automotive chassis components and systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with chassis components and Siemens NX within a structured product development process. You will create and review 3D models, support engineering changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, while ensuring documentation and specifications meet engineering, quality, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive chassis engineering or component design.
• Hands-on experience designing or developing chassis components (suspension, steering, brake, wheel, subframe).
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve engineering issues.
• Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of chassis components.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs meet applicable engineering, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive chassis engineering or component design.
• Hands‑on experience designing or developing chassis components, such as suspension, steering, brake, wheel, subframe, or related systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens NX for 3D modeling and design.
• Understanding of automotive chassis systems and component functionality.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and applying basic GD&T principles.
• Understanding of automotive product development and engineering change processes.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Familiarity with vehicle development and release processes.
• Experience supporting testing and validation activities.
