Group W is the developer and maintainer of the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM), the authoritative M&S tool accepted by the Joint Analytic Community for analysis of theatre-level, multi-domain, joint warfare. Similarly, we developed and manage the Standard Wargame Integration and Facilitation Tool (SWIFT) for OSW as an adaptable environment to support joint force combatants’ wargaming requirements.
SPA has an immediate need for a Campaign Analyst (STORM Developer/Analyst) to support the Secretary of the Air Force Studies and Analysis (SAF/SA) client onsite at the Pentagon.
The Campaign Analyst will employ knowledge of modeling and simulation, operations research techniques, and military operations to inform a variety of Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) focused analyses to inform force structure, capability acquisition, and force employment decisions using a variety of software tools. The analyst will apply their skills to solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, modeling and simulation, and data science techniques. The analyst will work on a team responsible for developing and executing analytical studies and methods to provide analytical insights to inform decisions spanning the DoW analysis challenges including capability trades, systems trades, and force structure analyses. The analyst will be responsible for developing and executing campaign-level representations of U.S., allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation in STORM.

Salary transparency pay range: $100K-$120K
