Job summary

Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure (Marmon IEI) is seeking a Jr. Buyer to manage procurement for maintenance and manufacturing needs. You will run MRP, place orders for raw materials, and maintain strong supplier relationships to support production schedules.

The role requires an associates degree and at least 3 years of buying experience; CPP is a plus. Excellent communication and organization are essential, along with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a buyer or in a similar role.
• CPP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of purchasing laws, supplier contracts and ISO quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Purchase maintenance and factory supplies as required.
• Run MRP and order raw materials as needed.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage negotiations.
• Ensure accurate recording of procurement activity and ensure timely updates to ERP.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
