ATEC, LLC is seeking a Jr. Automation Test/SW Engineer for 100% on-site work at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Relocation is required for non-local candidates, and relocation assistance is not provided. The role focuses on automated testing for FAA’s Flight Service OASIS and NOTAM systems. Responsibilities include evaluating system design and test artifacts, developing automated tests, and supporting both Unix and Windows environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/EE/IS with at least 6 years of related work experience.
• Experience in system testing, including test procedure creation, troubleshooting, issue documentation, and test report generation.
• Knowledge of SOA, JMS, SOAP, XML and WSDLs, and ability to read/decipher XML files.

• Review and comment on system engineering, requirements and testing documents; attend design reviews and meetings.
• Develop and manage system engineering and testing artifacts; read XML/WSDLs and troubleshoot issues.
• Create and maintain automated tools using scripting languages (Selenium, QTP) and support Unix/Windows environments.

Job Description

Jr. Automation Test/SW Engineer:READ: This position is 100% on-site at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Candidates must be able to report to this location as required. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance must be willing to relocate prior to their start date. Relocation assistance is not provided. ATEC is looking for an Automation Tester to create and perform automated system testing for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Flight Service "OASIS" System and the new Federal NOTAM System.

Essential Job Functions

• Review and comment on system engineering documents; system requirement documents; system testing documentsAttend system design reviews; technical interchange meetings; any other meetings as requested to support program and teamPossess a technical understanding of systems; databases; networking; computing environments; virtualizationPossess a technical understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA); Java Message Service (JMS); Web Services (NOT Web Page Development); Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Communication ProtocolDevelop and manage system engineering artifacts; system requirements artifacts; system testing artifacts; required product baseline artifactsAble to read/decipher/troubleshoot XML files and WSDLsAbility to support software applications in Unix and Windows environmentsCreate and maintain automated tools using various scripting languages such as (Selenium, QTP)Ability to debug software issues in Unix and Windows environmentsSupport system development/testing/integration/deployment activitiesParticipate in system test and key site test activities as a tester

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education / Years of Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems or related field with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience.

Security Requirements

• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US

• Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Must be willing to travel.

Full-time position, standard work hours, no specified job duration.

Pay Range

$80,000 - $92,000
