Job summary

Atlantic Coast Athletic Clubs, LP is seeking an assistant to support junior development and tennis youth programming at our Greenville, SC location. You will provide tennis instruction across groups and levels, supervise children, and assist with junior development and club events.

Responsibilities include aiding with summer camps, tournaments, and administrative tasks, while promoting a safe, engaging environment for young players. Some flexibility in shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching tennis lessons or youth summer programming highly desired
• Preferred 11+ UTR rating
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Summary/objective

Responsible for assisting with junior development and tennis youth programming.

Essential functions

• Supervise and interact with children to promote educationally and developmentally-stimulating programs and activities
• Assist with junior development of competitive players and 10 and under tennis
• Assist the Director with all club events, tournaments and USTA matches
• Assist with tennis instruction for summer camp and junior programming
• General administrative assistance as required

Physical demands

• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
• Must be able to physically respond in a quick manner in the event of an emergency
• Must be able to fully participate in all indoor and outdoor activities
• Must be able to work professionally and calmly in an environment which may have heightened noise and stress
• Must be able to work in warm, humid, rainy or windy outdoor conditions
• Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements
