Job Summary :

Coordinate and supervise the site HSE and Welfare inspection and assurance process to ensure that all

HSE and Welfare rules, regulations, and procedures are implemented and adhered to in accordance with the Company Policy and ADNOC codes of practice. This includes the enhancement of training programs, personnel awareness of safety and welfare, environmental protection, and investigating and reporting all industrial accidents and malfunctions of safety equipment. The role is also to take an active role in process safety barriers assurance and reinforcement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the activities of assigned personnel and perform supervisory functions at the level established by management.
  • Carry out Safety Inspections according to the approved program in order to detect safety and fire hazards and unsafe working practices, and conditions.
  • Investigate and report on accidents and the proper functions of all safety equipment.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses and generate a report.
  • Ensure implementation of regular inspection, maintenance, and cleaning programme for all compressed air breathing apparatus and resuscitation equipment.
  • Plan and prepare for hot-work, naked flame, and radiography, signatory for work permit, and check the work site.
  • Participate and provide Safety input in Task Risk Assessment and ensure that mitigation measures are identified in the work permits and knowledge of hazards is cascaded to those who carry out the task.
  • Carry out spot checks of safety awareness among the sharp ends by auditing Toolbox Talks for content and team comprehension.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering or Equivalent
  • NEBOSH HSE Certification or Diploma.
  • 6 8 years of experience in HSE in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry
  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Good attention to detail, analytical, and decision-making ability.
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
