Job summary

Energy Solutions is seeking Nuclear Pipe Welders with current unescorted access/security clearance to support a nuclear facility. Candidates must have welded at a Nuclear Power Plant within the last 365 days and be able to pass all requirements including the weld test.

Weld Test Requirements: 1" SS socket weld 5F GTAW; 4" I-beam horizontal E7018; monster coupon with ER309 GTAW; monster coupon GTAW/SMAW side bends. Site training and nuclear background check required.

Qualifications

• Must have welded at a Nuclear Power Plant within the last 365 days.
• Must pass all requirements including the Weld Test.
• Must have current unescorted access/security clearance.

Weld Test Requirements

• 1\" Stainless Steel Socket Weld 5F position GTAW 3/16\"- 3/16\"fillet leg Visual inspection.


• 4\" I-Beam in horizontal position E7018 1/4\" fillet Visual inspection.


• Monster Coupon Carbon steel with ER309 filler GTAW Side bends.


• Monster Coupon Combo GTAW / SMAW (ER70S-2 / E7018) Side bends

Additional Requirements

• Must pass nuclear background check
