Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Journeyman Water Pipefitter in Apache Junction, Arizona for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District WRF Expansion. You will assemble, install, and replace piping systems and fixtures across buildings and outdoor sites.

Responsibilities include installing piping systems for water, steam and other fluids, lifting materials, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Journeyman Water Pipefitter for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District WRF Expansion , in Apache Junction, Arizona .

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters
