Job summary

Air Hydro Power Inc. seeks traveling laborers to perform manual labor on temporary assignments at power plant sites during August–November.

This role requires flexibility to travel to out-of-state sites, lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, and operate hand tools and light machinery in varying conditions. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or 3–5 years of related experience), a valid driver’s license, and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Welding training or certification is a plus.
• Millwright background or familiarity with power plant work is a plus.
• Ability to travel to out-of-state job sites as needed, including weekly overnight travel.

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather/temperatures (depending on the season and location).
• Maintain safe work environments and follow OSHA regulations – safety is our top priority!

They provide flexible workforce solutions for projects that require additional hands or specialized work in different geographic areas.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus.
• Welders are a plus and earn more upon testing of proficiency, but we do train in welding as jobs and time allows.
• A valid driver’s license
• A vehicle to travel to and from job sites
• Millwright Background a plus.
• Familiar with Power Plant work a plus.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is routinely required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
