Job summary

Amcor is seeking a hands-on Tooling Assembler in Evansville, IN. You will assemble injection and blow molds, and operate manual and CNC machines, using precision tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately.
  • Ability to climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others.
  • Must be able to push/pull loads of ~75 lbs at least 10 times per shift.
  • Stand/walk for 7.5 hours of an 8-hour shift.

Job Description

This role is a hands‑on position focused on safety, precision, and quality in a tooling manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for assembling injection and blow molds, operating manual and CNC machines, and using precision measuring tools to ensure components meet exact specifications. From maintaining a clean and safe shop to responding to facility issues and supporting continuous improvement, this position plays a key role in keeping tooling operations running efficiently and safely every day.

Qualifications
  • High school education / GED equivalent.
  • Able to accurately read blueprints.
  • Ability to climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to others. Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.
  • Ability to push/pull loads of approximately 75 lbs at a minimum of 10 times per day/shift.
  • Able to stand/walk for 7.5 hours of an 8-hour shift.
